Classic Snake Ring

Classic Snake Ring

My Classic signature snake ring inspired by ancient Roman/Byzantine jewelry, with a gemstone set in head.

Snakes, or serpents, have symbolized something in every culture and every religion on earth. From Ancient Egypt, where a snake represented as the stylized, upright form of an Egyptian cobra (asp, serpent, or snake), it was used as a symbol of sovereignty, royalty, and divine authority. In modern Native American cultures, it represents speed and swiftness, like a lighting bolt, and fertility and healing.

Ancient Celts used the snake as a symbol of secret knowledge. They have been a symbol of fertility (most ancient cultures), of guardianship (Hinduism, Buddhism, ancient
Cambodia) and of luck in battle (Norse).

They were carried down through the ages as symbols of wisdom. Asclepius, the god
of medicine and healing, carried a staph with a snake coiled around it. That has passed down be to the modern symbol of Medicine.

Always remember, Snake sheds their entire skin, and they re-emerge whole. Thus, snakes are revered as beings of power, symbols of regeneration, rebirth and transformation .

The Snake Spirit can help you glide gracefully through even the most harrowing experiences.
